Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with Bronia Stewart about her several successful projects. She first spoke about her project; 'Babe Station' and how she managed to meet people and network in that type of industry, which was really interesting to hear, as she mentioned that it was a chance meeting with somebody that actually kicked it all off.
Then she went on to talk about her project 'Pepe' in Mexico, and how she socialised with the people she photographed to make the images come across a lot more real, rather than staged.
Bronia shoots on film with all her projects; she described the process as 'It feels like we craft the photographs' which is something I have learnt during my final year too, by shooting on medium format film.
